Hi, my name is Sara Herrera Peralta or Sara Hepe, which is more fun and still reminds me of where I come from. I was born in Jerez de la Frontera (Spain, 1980). I currently live in Paris. I'm a poet (I've published 9 poetry books), graphic designer, blogger and I am also enthusiastic about flamenco dance and photography. From branding and corporate identity to illustration and story telling, I have more than 12 years' experience in office work and experience of studying and working in international and multi-cultural environments (Dublin, San Sebastian, Grenoble, Malaga, Helsinki, London, Paris...). I speak English, Spanish and French and I have been working for Marketing and Communication Departments for 6 years now.
I am interested in everything that is handmade, my creations search for a fresh, casual and fun style. I look for the mixture between my passion for literature and graphic design in editorial projects: I would like to work with books, magazines and any kind of project regarding words. I have also worked on projects that respond to client demand and, for this, as well as being trained in graphic design at Shillington College in London (United Kingdom), I hold an MBA specialized in Communication, Media and Events by ESG Paris Graduate School of Management of Paris (France) and a Master in Communication Management and Marketing by the Open University of Catalonia (Spain). In my portfolio you can consult some projects I’ve taken part in and in my CV all the rest of my education and experience. Do not hesitate in contacting me for any kind of information or collaboration.
I normally use my camera far from home, on my trips, when I also take my notebook to write. I am exploring in the combination of poetry, photography and graphic design. I am especially interested in portraits. I like people. Their moles and wrinkles intrigue me. I have coeliac disease which is why you will find a lot of gluten-free illustration in this website. I am also a tireless traveller. Have a look at the section “Lessons” if you would like to get to know me or visit my shop at "etsy.com", a brand called “lalolacrea” that was born so I could make gifts for my family and friends.
Enjoy your journey!
